Job summary

The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) in Richmond, VA seeks an Eligibility Projects Analyst to lead eligibility/enrollment projects within MES and VaCMS. Qualifications

• Knowledge of determining Medicaid eligibility for ABD, CHIP, FAMIS.
• Experience with VaCMS and MES systems.
• Experience in Medicaid policy research, systems analysis, and evaluating requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with state agencies, vendors, and partners to resolve issues.
• Experience creating and executing UAT scenarios and defect documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on eligibility/enrollment projects (BA, data research, systems analysis).
• Ensure MES/VaCMS support Medicaid/FAMIS policies and requirements.
• Lead system enhancements: gather BRDs, manage change requests, coordinate stakeholders.
• Develop business scenarios, test cases, and UAT scripts.
• Attend internal and external meetings and occasional conferences.
