Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Graduation from an accredited associate degree program as listed; or high school plus required experience in income maintenance or related fields.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients and review forms (mail-in and electronic data) to collect required information.
• Enter data into a state web-based application to complete initial applications and verify information.
• Determine and verify eligibility by reviewing intake information and processing applications.
• Complete scheduled reviews to re-verify continued eligibility for services.
• Inform clients of rights and obligations and advise or refer to other program services as appropriate.

Education

Associate degree program in Human Services Technology, Social Services Associate, Paralegal Technology, Business Administration, Secretarial Science

High school diploma + 2 years paraprofessional/ public contact experience
