Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking a Medicaid Eligibility & Enrollment Manager to lead and improve eligibility, enrollment, and related operations across government programs in the United States. The role emphasizes coordinating with agencies, beneficiaries, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing and effective communications.

The position may involve policy implementation, staff training, system enhancements, and performance improvement initiatives with a focus on MAGI or related eligibility

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, or related program operations.
• Experience managing teams, projects, workflows, or service delivery.
• Understanding of eligibility and enrollment processes and their effect on beneficiaries.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use operational data to identify issues and guide improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage or support eligibility, enrollment, renewal, and redetermination initiatives
• Review workflows and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and timeliness
• Coordinate teams, vendors, and agency stakeholders
• Monitor workloads, backlogs, service levels, and operational performance
• Support implementation of policy and procedural changes
• Develop training materials, operating procedures, and beneficiary communications
• Support eligibility system improvements, testing, and implementation
• Help improve coordination between eligibility determination and health plan enrollment
• Prepare operational reports and practical recommendations
