Job summary

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is seeking a Social Science Research Analyst, Data Analyst (GS-0101-13) to develop and apply survey, market research, and statistical methods for studies across HHS programs, with emphasis on Medicaid and CHIP.

The role requires leading projects, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and presenting findings to inform program integrity and policy decisions.

Qualifications

• Meet basic requirement A/B/C for behavioral or social sciences with transcripts.
• Specialized experience includes leading Medicaid and CHIP healthcare research projects.
• Experience in data-driven projects with cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to develop and present technical documents explaining study data and program recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, design, implementation and evaluation of Medicaid and CHIP healthcare research projects.
• Manage data-driven products collaborating with research, analysis, data analytics and ingestion teams.
• Develop and present technical documents to explain data and make recommendations to stakeholders.
