Job summary

Myers and Stauffer LC seeks analytical professionals to join a multi-disciplinary team analyzing health-related and financial data for Medicaid compliance and program regulation adherence. You will ensure data integrity, perform statistical calculations, and prepare decision-support documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, health policy, health care administration, health information, criminal justice or related field.
• Master's degree and CPA/CPE/CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience with health care auditing strongly preferred.
• Ability to review statutory/regulatory or policy language and apply requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Access/Word).

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to analyze health-related and financial information.
• Verify data integrity and perform statistical calculations for compliance.
• Research Medicaid and government program regulations.
• Assist with analyses related to Medicaid engagements.
• Prepare written documents supporting professional decisions.
• Review federal and state Medicaid policies related to reimbursement and quality programs.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of protected health information.
• Maintain thorough electronic documentation.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
