Job summary

Peraton seeks a Project Coordinator to support the SafeGuard Services Medicaid Managed Care audit initiative. The role bridges business needs and technical solutions, coordinating data strategy, methodologies, and analysis to ensure audit data is validated, reliable, and actionable.

Responsibilities include leading projects on fraud, waste, and abuse, developing methodologies, analyzing Medicaid claims, and coordinating with CMS and state agencies. Telework is available from anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

  • 5 years with BS/BA; or 9 years with a HS Diploma/equivalent.
  • Healthcare policy and regulation experience (Medicaid preferred).
  • Strong research skills.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects in Medicaid fraud, waste, or abuse investigations.
  • Develop project methodologies with internal teams.
  • Apply data analysis to detect aberrancies in Medicaid claims.
  • Review claims history/provider files to identify fraudulent patterns.
  • Coordinate with CMS, State agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Track and report project progress to CMS and States.
  • Telework coordination and cross-team liaison.
