Job summary

The Office of the Attorney General in Florida is seeking an Audit Evaluation & Review Analyst to join our team in Orlando or Tampa. The role focuses on advanced audit techniques, Medicaid-related financial analysis, and investigative support to ensure program integrity.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in accounting or finance, CPA/CIA credentials preferred, and the ability to work with attorneys and investigators in complex financial cases.

Qualifications

• 6 years of work experience in auditing or financial analysis, or
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field with at least 2 years' experience, or
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field; CPA/CIA can substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Review resident trust accounts and provide financial interpretation to support investigations.
• Lead or assist in cases involving Medicaid provider fraud and perform audits.
• Analyze bank statements, IRS returns, and general ledger data to identify anomalies.
• Coordinate with investigators and ensure compliance with GAAP/GAAS standards.

Education
