Job summary

Best Version Media is seeking a driven media sales representative to turn your love of community into a career in local territory. You will sell advertising across print magazines and companion digital products, building your own book of business with a flexible schedule as a field-based, in-person role.

You’ll leverage our training and sales system to establish lasting relationships with local business owners, earning commissions and bonuses as you grow your territory.

Best Version Media is looking for a driven, community-minded sales professional to join us as a Media Sales Representative.

What You’ll Do

This is a field-based, in-person sales role. You’ll build your own book of business in your local territory, on a schedule you control, selling advertising placements across BVM’s local print magazine and companion digital, social, and website products.

• Scale: Leverage our proven training and time-tested sales system to grow your own book of business, building community engagement that pays you and your community for years to come.

What You’ll Earn

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with no base salary or draw (full commission). Representatives earn a recurring commission on sales, with commission rates generally ranging from 70-80% based on monthly sales volume and performance relative to the baseline* cost structure. Bonuses are available during start-up and on an ongoing basis.

*Baseline is the back-end cost associated with the magazine & digital product’s cost to produce, distribute, bill clients, etc, and does not come out of the representative’s pocket.
