DLA Piper is seeking a Communications Specialist (Public Relations) to drive media relations and public relations efforts for the firm’s brand. The role requires proactive, results-oriented individuals with deep understanding of the media landscape and proven relationships with journalists.

The position supports hybrid work schedules and can sit in any US office. 5+ years in marketing or PR preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.

• Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• 5 years' experience in Marketing, Public relations, Journalism, or similar field.
• Strong writing, editing, and media relations skills.

Responsabilidades

• Help create and implement comprehensive media relations strategies aligned with firm goals.
• Collaborate with attorneys and Communications, Marketing and Business Development to promote practice areas and achievements.
• Proactively pitch story ideas, news releases, and commentary to secure media placements.
• Maintain media relationships and stay aware of changes in the media landscape.
• Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.
