Job summary

BioFire Diagnostics in Missouri is seeking a Production Specialist to prepare media and subcomponents, verify dispensing systems, and support Clean-In-Place operations. You will ensure timely delivery of high-quality product to Card production while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

The role requires 2+ years wet chemistry experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably a Biology/Chemistry degree. Flexible, detail-oriented team player with strong documentation skills is ideal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years of wet chemistry bench work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Chemistry preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and laboratory procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Vitek susceptibility and identification media and sub components.
• Set up and verify dispensing systems for timely production.
• Maintain Clean-In-Place (CIP) operations and safe work environment.
• Verify media labeling, manufacturing, and storage per specifications.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment, document start-up/shut-down procedures.
• Assist with end of lot documentation and MES communication.
• Maintain FEFO for long-term stocks and components.
• Participate in new product development and production transition.
