Job summary

Catholic Health’s Good Samaritan University Hospital in Long Island, NY, seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform a range of tests in hematology, chemistry, blood bank and microbiology.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's in Medical Technology, NYS licensure, and complete internship or equivalent hospital experience; weekend/holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school required.
• Licensed under the NYS Dept of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required.
• Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology required.
• Hospital experience desired.
• Must work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• One year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience required.
• Good oral and written communication skills essential.

Salary Range

USD $63.66 - USD $69.45 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
