Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Certified Med Technician to support residents by coordinating medication administration and assisting with daily living activities on a part-time basis.

The role covers 2nd and 3rd shifts (3:00 pm–11:30 pm and 11:00 pm–7:30 am) in McMurray, PA. Responsibilities include medication assistance, personal care, documentation, and collaboration with the health care team to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Requires state Med Tech certification.
• Experience coordinating medication administration and daily resident care is preferred.
• Ability to document tasks and communicate clearly with the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications for all assigned residents.
• Provide daily care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals, and activities.
• Monitor residents’ comfort and respond to needs.
• Document shift reports and resident records accurately.
• Communicate urgent needs and concerns to Health Care Director clearly.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Med Technician. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Schedule

• Part-time 2nd and 3rd shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm and 11pm-7:30am)

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
