Job summary

Spring Arbor Senior Living - Apex, located in Apex, NC, is hiring a part-time Supervisor in Charge (SIC) for 3pm–11pm. The SIC oversees daily operations, manages the medication administration program, and directs RAs and Med Techs under the Resident Care Director.

Prior Med Tech/SIC experience is preferred, with a compassionate, reliable approach to resident care. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 21+ years old, and CPR/First Aid certificates along with state-specific Med Tech

Qualifications

• Med Tech, PCA or CNA certification required or preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience in supervising staff is preferred.
• Familiarity with dementia/Alzheimer's care is beneficial.
• Must be able to work 3pm–11pm and part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• Document and review medication administration.
• Transcribe and carry out physician orders per policy.
• Coordinate with RCD and families regarding residents’ care and events.
• Respond promptly to resident emergency call system and incidents.
• Refer to charts and administer medications per physician orders.
