Job summary

Elm-Terrace-Gardens is seeking a Medication Technician and Direct Care Worker to provide patient-centered care for residents, including medication administration and daily living support. The role emphasizes safety, compassion, and teamwork in a supportive facility environment.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma/GED from the United States and Direct Care Worker Certificate or a CNA certification
• Valid Certification as a Medication Technician through the State of Pennsylvania with observations.
• Previous experience in a direct care role preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of medication administration and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be punctual and have good attendance.

Medication Technician and Direct Care Worker

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medication Technician and Direct Care Worker, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to our residents. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with medication management and daily living activities, within a supportive and professional environment.

Schedule is 7p-7a, working 2 nights a week and every other weekend equaling 72 hours bi-weekly with available pickup time if interested in overtime.

Rate is 23.00 an hour and 1.00 shift differential

Key Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and in accordance with established protocols
