Job summary

The Reserve at Lake Austin is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to administer medications and monitor residents in a senior living community. Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, 6am to 10pm, with supervision of care staff when needed.

Qualifications

• State-required Medication Technician (RMA/Med Tech) training and certification, where applicable.
• Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with physician orders and state regulations.
• Measure and document vital signs and weight.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
• Follow medication room systems and safety procedures per policy.
• Coordinate with physicians, home health, hospice, and emergency protocols as needed.
• Supervise resident care team members to ensure completion of assigned duties when acting as shift lead.
