Qualifications

  • Experience in an Assisted Living Facility.
  • Background check and Live Scan.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with self-administration of medication for residents as prescribed by the physician.
  • Observes and reports changes in condition to LVN, Administrator, and physician.
  • Creates and updates resident files upon admission with physician report and medications.
  • Stores medications safely in accordance with policies and regulations.
  • Monitors medication handling and accountability across shifts.
  • Maintains med room operations and replenishes supplies as needed.
  • Accompanies physicians during resident visits and records data accurately.
  • Communicates medication prescriptions and changes to pharmacy; updates MAR and medication binder.
  • Greets clients, families, and visitors and addresses medication concerns for residents.
  • Completes incident reports within 24 hours and notifies relevant parties.
