Job summary

Mosaic Management is seeking a Med Tech for on-call night shifts (10pm–6am) in a long-term care setting in Oregon. The role focuses on compassionate medication management, accurate MAR documentation, and resident care.

The ideal candidate has a Med Tech certification and a strong sense of empathy and reliability. Responsibilities include administering medications, updating orders, and coordinating with healthcare professionals while maintaining a secure medication area and reporting health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Med Tech certification preferred; experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Medications management, documentation, and MAR entries.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications per state regulations and policies.
• Verify orders, store medications securely, and maintain a clean med room.
• Record vital signs, monitor changes, and communicate with Clinical Manager.
• Provide first aid and wound care when needed; coordinate with healthcare professionals.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as required.

Position is for ON CALL and NOC shift (10pm-6am)

Key Responsibilities

• Medication Management & Documentation
• Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with Mosaic policies, physician orders, and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely entries in the Medication Assistance Record (MAR).
• Verify, clarify, and update physician orders as needed.
• Order, receive, and securely store medications in compliance with community protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication room.
• Resident Care & Support
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs, monitor health changes, and communicate updates promptly to the Clinical Manager or Executive Director.
• Provide first aid and wound care when necessary and coordinate care with outside healthcare professionals as directed.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Med Tech certification and previous long-term care experience, preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
