Bishop Gadsden is seeking dedicated Medication Technicians/Nurse Assistants to join their team in Myers Hall, South Carolina. In this essential role, you will ensure residents receive their medications safely and on time, while promoting their dignity and overall well-being.

Ideal candidates will be passionate about providing exceptional care, possess strong communication skills, and have previous experience in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medication Technician training program with a passing score of 80% or higher.
• 1 year experience working as a MedTech within a senior living setting.
• At least 18 years of age and in good physical health.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, respectful demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications accurately and promptly, following all safety protocols.
• Monitor Resident Health and report changes in condition.
• Maintain Medication Inventory by ordering and tracking prescriptions.
• Document Thoroughly in electronic health records and report any medication errors.
• Support Resident Rights by respecting privacy and maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with Care Teams and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with Daily Living by performing nursing aide duties as needed.
