Job summary

Qualifications

• Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with medication administration as directed by the health care provider and supervise self-administration when appropriate.
• Assist with medication cart audits, maintain organization and accuracy in the medication supply room, and coordinate with pharmacies for medication delivery.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, healthcare team, and residents to ensure safe and compliant medication handling.
