Job summary

Bridgeway Park Grand Haven Senior Living Community is seeking compassionate healthcare professionals to join our team under new management. We are focused on delivering high-quality care for residents, including those with dementia, with empathy and reliability.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, passing medications, maintaining a safe, clean environment, and documenting all care and medications.

Qualifications

• 3 years of caregiving experience.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Every other weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Pass medications and injections as prescribed, with hands-on care.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas, including light housekeeping.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assess changes in condition and communicate with supervisor.
• Document medications and care provided in charts.
• Respond to call lights and assist residents as needed.
• Assist with meals and feeding as required.
• Support other team members and complete required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Passing medication is a primary responsibility along with hands-on care to each resident.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
• Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
• Following schedule, and assisting residents with repositioning.
• Follow procedures regarding documenting medications.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties.
• Complete all required documents and charting.
• Answer call lights and assess residents' needs.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
