Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC in Washington state is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to assist residents with medications, document care per regulations, and maintain accurate medication records. Qualifications

• completion of Qualified Medication Aide program with current license.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications as ordered by physician(s).
• Document all medication management functions per regulation and facility protocols.
• Obtain, receive, and store medications from pharmacy.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in medication storage area.
• Record vital signs, weight, and measures; observe and report resident condition changes.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with Residents' Rights.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge processes; inventory possessions.
• Follow universal precautions and safety rules; report violations.
• Attend orientation, training and staff meetings.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
