Job summary

Complete Care at Southpointe is seeking a reliable Certified Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our second shift team. You will administer medications, supervise resident self-administration, and collaborate with nursing staff to maintain high standards of resident care.

The ideal candidate holds Wisconsin CMA/Med Tech certification, Wisconsin CNA certification, and has good EMR skills. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, but newly certified Med Techs are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold Wisconsin CMA/Med Tech Certification.
• Active Wisconsin CNA certification required by state guidelines.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred, new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and routine treatments per physician orders and care plans.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medications for safety.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition or medication effects to Nursing Supervisor/Director of Nursing.
• Maintain accurate EMR administration records.
• Adhere to facility policies, state licensure regulations, and federal guidelines.
• Assist with medication cart organization, inventory, and reordering supplies.
• Perform related duties as assigned by Unit Manager or Director of Nursing.
