Job summary

Carrolton Regional Medical Center in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Medical Technologist Generalist for a 7on/7off night shift to perform laboratory tests and ensure quality and safety.

You will report results, maintain equipment, and collaborate with other departments while adhering to regulations. Night schedule is 10:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. with salaries based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical laboratory testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests in accordance with department procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Follow quality control, quality assurance, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Perform instrument maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
• Accurately report test results.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure proper stock levels.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and other departments.

Position responsibilities:

Perform laboratory tests in compliance with department procedures and all pertinent regulatory requirements.

Follow quality control, quality assurance, safety, and infection control procedures.

Perform instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Accurately report test results.

Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies.

Maintain effective communication and working relationships with all laboratory personnel, other disciplines, and external customers.

Participate in laboratory projects and educational activities.

Demonstrates and educates laboratory principles and technical skills to others.
