Job summary

Riverview Terrace in Roseburg, OR is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Medication Partner/Caregiver to join our 15-apartment Residential Care Facility (RCF) licensed Personal Care Wing. Responsibilities include medication administration, ADL support, and resident well-being in a fast-paced senior care environment.

The role requires availability for swing and night shifts, weekend/holiday coverage, and relevant caregiver/medication aide certifications (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Must be available to work all shifts.
• Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
• Night (NOC) Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• Open availability with no restrictions on days of the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience passing medications in an Assisted Living or Residential Care Facility (RCF) is preferred.
• Current caregiver and medication aide certifications (or ability to obtain if required by state regulations).

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Provide compassionate personal care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being and promptly report changes.
• Maintain accurate EMR/EHR records and complete required documentation.
• Assist residents with mobility, hygiene, dressing, grooming, and meal support.
• Provide companionship while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional resident care.
• Follow all state regulations and facility policies regarding resident care and medication administration.

• Experience in Assisted Living, Residential Care Facilities, Memory Care, or Senior Care is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of dementia care and person-centered care practices is a plus.
• Experience with EMR/EHR documentation preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently.
