Mosaic Management, Salem, is hiring a Med Tech to support medication management and resident care in a long-term care setting. The role includes preparing and documenting meds, MAR entries, and verifying orders, with emphasis on accuracy, privacy, and safety.

Responsibilities cover vital signs, wound care, and coordination with healthcare professionals while maintaining a secure medication room and compliant records; evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Med Tech certification preferred; prior long-term care experience helps.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience, and commitment to resident dignity.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Maintain MAR entries accurately and timely.
• Verify, clarify, and update physician orders as needed.
• Order, receive, and securely store medications per community protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication room.
• Resident Care & Support, including activities of daily living.
• Take and record vital signs, monitor health changes, and communicate updates to leadership.
• Provide first aid and wound care; coordinate care with outside professionals as directed.

• Medication Management & Documentation
• Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with Mosaic policies, physician orders, and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely entries in the Medication Assistance Record (MAR).
• Verify, clarify, and update physician orders as needed.
• Order, receive, and securely store medications in compliance with community protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication room.
• Resident Care & Support
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs, monitor health changes, and communicate updates promptly to the Clinical Manager or Executive Director.
• Provide first aid and wound care when necessary and coordinate care with outside healthcare professionals as directed.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Med Tech certification and previous long-term care experience, preferred.
