Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg in Mitchell, South Dakota. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, starting 11/09/2026. Travel status and agency support are included.

The RN will care for adult patients before and after procedures, administer medications, and document care thoroughly while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care Med/Surg experience.
• Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care.
