Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment at Medical City - Dallas Hospital in Dallas, TX. The role operates on a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule and offers Day One Benefits and travel support.

The RN will manage varied medical-surgical caseloads, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate admissions and discharges with the care team. Active Texas RN License and 2+ years of Med Surg experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Active Texas RN License.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of patients with acute and chronic Med Surg conditions.
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor for changes in condition, escalating concerns promptly.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the interdisciplinary care team.
