Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg Travel Nurse for a 13-week assignment at Mercy Hospital - St. Louis.

This Nights shift (3x12) delivers a busy medical-surgical caseload and uses the Epic EMR to document patient care, orders, and transfers. As the Med Surg RN on this rotation you will administer medications, monitor patient status, support admissions and discharges, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Active Missouri RN License.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions, including postoperative care when assigned
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor for changes in condition, escalating concerns promptly
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the interdisciplinary care team
