Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med/Surg in Dothan, Alabama. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, nights, and overall travel duties.

Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience, current license, and required certifications are needed. We offer guaranteed hours, weekly deposits, 401k match, and housing options as part of our support network.

Qualifications

• One (1) year minimum acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license
• Appropriate certifications as required for position
• Degree from an accredited school
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies
• Clear English communication (read, write, speak)

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
