Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Bowling Green, KY. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a med-surg and telemetry setting, with nights, 12-hour shifts, and a 36-hour work week.

The role requires 1 year of Med Surg RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS certification. Travel pay includes competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes
• Prepare patients for diagnostics and assist during procedures
• Maintain safe, comfortable environment for post-procedure patients
• Document patient information and care outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers on care plans
• Prioritize care based on acuity and needs
• Ensure infection control practices and PPE use
• Facilitate discharge planning with patients and families
