Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med/Surg department in Durant, OK. This PRN daytime position involves coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care following established clinical protocols and physician orders.

You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor equipment, and collaborate with the care team to create and evaluate individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN license in state or compact licensure required.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and nursing process.
• Assists physicians during procedures within the scope of competency and skill.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Telemetry RN duties include tracking heart rhythms and vital signs, and responding to emergencies.
