This 9-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to work night shifts at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma, and teaching hospital. Join our healthcare team and provide exceptional clinical support to adult and geriatric patients in a vibrant Michigan healthcare setting.

Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details – Lansing, MI

• Location: Lansing, MI 48912 (Michigan healthcare jobs)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840–$1890
• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Magnet/Teaching/Level 1 Trauma Hospital
• Assignment Length: 9 weeks (Start: 11/11/2025 – End: 1/13/2026)
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Patient Ratios: 1:4–6
• Scrub Color: Hunter Green
• Parking: Free garage parking with badge access
• Holiday Coverage: Must be available for 2 of 3 major holidays (including day before and after)

Med/Surg Tele RN Qualifications

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license by start date (pending license accepted if active by start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (2 years preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation experience required
• EPIC electronic medical record charting experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Ability to float to all adult acute care units, including stepdown
• Willingness to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Proof of high school education required

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in Med/Surg Telemetry units
• Float to various adult acute care and stepdown units as needed
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, Pharmacy, etc.)
• Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and documentation
• Administer medications, manage central and peripheral lines, and perform wound care
• Care for patients with diverse diagnoses: cardiac, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, oncology, surgical, and behavioral health
• Participate in rapid response and code situations as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards
