Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care across the patient's lifespan using established nursing processes. Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• New graduates eligible; no experience required.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia (NLC/eNCL multistate) required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Advanced certification in specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Function within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in delivering quality nursing care.
