Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama in Prattville seeks a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg to supervise nursing staff on shift and ensure quality patient care.

The RN will perform assessments, plan and implement care, and collaborate with physicians and clinicians. Active RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be needed depending on area. This is a full-time, night-shift position with weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC etc may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide general supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Additional duties within the scope of the role may be assigned.
