Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced RN for Medical/Surgical units with night shifts. This position supports 0.9 FTE / full-time equivalents and involves self-scheduling or 6-week float assignments across zones within the system.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years Med/Surg RN experience, BLS/ACLS certifications, and a BSN preference. Expect high patient volumes, evidence-based care, and ongoing professional development in a large healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typical for Med/Surg.

Responsibilities

• Engage in councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
