Job summary

Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, MS, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg on a full-time night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You will assess patients, manage care plans, assist with exams, administer medications and IV therapy, and educate patients and families for home care.

Ideal candidates hold a Mississippi RN license (or Compact/Multi-State), BLS certification, and 1+ year RN experience; ACLS/PALS or wound care certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Mississippi RN license or Compact/Multi State License (Required).
• BLS certification (Required).
• 1+ years RN experience (Required).
• ACLS, PALS, and/or Wound Care Certified (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients & documenting care plans.
• Performing triage and stabilizing patients as needed.
• Administering medications & IV therapy.
• Supporting physicians during exams, testing, and treatments.
• Providing patient/family education for home care, medications, and recovery.
• Ensuring accurate documentation and safe, compassionate care.
