Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a motivated medical-surgical nurse for our fast-paced 30-bed Med-Surg unit. The role delivers direct care to adult and geriatric patients with a range of illnesses and comorbidities, collaborating with the broader medical team and support staff.

Strong teamwork and compassionate patient care are valued, with flexible scheduling and ongoing unit education. Georgia license and hospital experience are preferred; new grads can apply PRN.

Qualifications

• RN with Georgia state licensure (or NLC/eNCL multistate).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred; new graduates eligible for PRN.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Coordinate patient care activities with the medical team.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability on a Med-Surg unit.
