Job summary

Soliant Health seeks an experienced RN for a medical-surgical contract role in Minneapolis. You will deliver comprehensive care on a med-surg unit, apply evidence-based practice, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to support patient recovery.

Qualified candidates must hold a current RN license and BLS certification, with EMR experience preferred. The assignment offers a supportive team, competitive weekly pay, and potential for contract extension based on performance and facility needs.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing (RN-MS).
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications are an asset.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a med-surg unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures in line with best practices.
• Document care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with physicians and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Monitor patient progress and respond rapidly to changes in condition.
• Adhere to facility policies and regulatory requirements.
