Job summary

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN license in the state, and BLS certification; a BSN and clinical specialty certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in delivering patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources with leadership on the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.
