Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for inpatient/ed care within a 24/7 hospital setting. You will protect, promote and restore health, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across the continuum.

The role requires an active RN license in Illinois or Michigan with BLS certification. BSN is preferred, and experience in healthcare with EMR and Microsoft Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to start date.
• BSN is preferred.
• Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of RN licensure.
• Collaborates with providers and care teams to coordinate patient care across the continuum.
• Assesses symptoms and provides psychological support to patients and families.
• Mentors team members and promotes best practices.
• Maintains professional disposition and readiness in a 24/7 hospital inpatient/ED setting.
