Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• A Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact license with active FL RN within 60 days.
• Must have Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• Experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Med/Surg patients.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatments.
• Maintain and review patient records, including tests and results.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
