Job summary

West Jefferson Medical Center, part of LCMC Health, is seeking a Med-Surg nurse who brings passion, resilience, and compassion to the bedside. You’ll coordinate care, support patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver direct patient care on the frontline.

A Louisiana nursing license and American Heart Association BLS certification are required. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and strong benefits as part of the LCMC Health family.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Experience in Med-Surg nursing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, coordinate, and delegate care touchpoints for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure direct patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate with families and care team.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control and care standards.
