Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under direction of Nurse Manager and Charge Nurse.
• Provide patient teaching to promote positive health outcomes.
• Act as a preceptor and orient assigned staff.
• Maintain position-specific skills and competencies annually.
• Respond to patient care needs promptly and maintain patient safety and rights.
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and participate in committees.
