Qualifications

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required.
• BLS and other AHA certifications required; non-AHA accepted at submission but AHA required before start.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• 2 professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med Surg General unit of a hospital environment.
• Day shift schedule.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• Float policy requires floating within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed.
• Provide general medical-surgical nursing care.
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local.
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions.
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract.
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this information.
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone use are prohibited on the unit.
