Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions LLC is hiring a Med Surg RN (Registered Nurse) in Niles, MI for day shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role requires bedside nursing, use of the nursing process, evidence-based care, and strong documentation with patient advocacy.

Ideal candidates possess an active Michigan RN license, BLS certification, and an ADN (BSN completion timing may apply). ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license.
• BLS (AHA or ARC).
• BSN completion timing may apply per facility guidelines.
• ACLS (preferred).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment with frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care aligned with professional standards and organizational policies.
• Complete patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
• Perform required point-of-care testing and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients/families and support discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and protect patient confidentiality.
• Delegate appropriately to support staff to ensure safe, efficient care delivery.
• Participate in unit safety initiatives, quality improvement, and ongoing professional development.
