Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process and established standards of practice. The RN will perform staff nurse duties and can serve as charge nurse when assigned, with accountability for the patients under their care.

New hires must have an Associate's Degree and be licensed to practice in Florida; a BSN is preferred and required within three years. ACLS/PALS/NRP and BLS certifications are specified by departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates teamwork and communicates professionally with the healthcare team.
• Licensed to practice nursing in Florida; BLS required on first day.
• BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications named where required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Perform staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned.
• Maintain accountability for assigned patients and collaborate with team.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
