Job summary

Medical Center Enterprise is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process. This role coordinates and delivers high-quality care per clinical protocols and physician orders, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to ensure positive outcomes and a compassionate environment for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BCLS certification.
• ACLS and/or PALS preferred or required for critical care units.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in line with policies and nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings; reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Supports physicians in procedures within competency; documents procedures.
• Collaborates with care team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions (CPR/code team).
• Educates patients and families on conditions, plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintains infection control protocols and safe patient environments.
• Operates medical equipment (IV pumps, monitors, ventilators) and ensures patient safety.
