Job summary

UC Davis Health seeks a Clinical Nurse II to provide autonomous, patient-centered nursing care in a Medical-Surgical unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while teaching and delegating duties within established policies.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical leadership, and ongoing professional development in a 90% on-site position at the Main Hospital in Sacramento. Shift 0645–1915, with a 90% workload and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nurse License without restriction.
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least two (2) years of recent paid RN experience in a similar setting.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
