Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced RN to join a dynamic care team on our unit. You will perform core nursing duties, document care, and coordinate with physicians, case managers, and other professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license in Illinois, a current BLS certification, and a college nursing diploma. You will work in a comprehensive clinical setting dedicated to patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (American Heart Association).
• Licensed RN in state (Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation).
• College diploma in Nursing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs all unit-specific nursing duties and maintains accurate documentation.
• Develops and updates care plans based on patient needs and unit standards.
• Assesses patients on admission and coordinates care with the healthcare team.
• Communicates clearly to promote patient safety and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Delivers medications and monitors responses per policy and the 5 Rights.
