Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Knoxville, TN. The RN will apply the nursing process and deliver patient care with supervision, making clinical judgments and coordinating care with the team.

Requirements include active RN license in the practicing state, English proficiency, current health certificate, PPD or Chest X-Ray, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Full command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver patient care.

The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Requirements:
